During the Jurassic Period(205 million to 138 million years ago),dinosaurs were the most prominent animals on land. The Tyrannosaurus Rex lived in the Cretaceous Period.
Geological Period:
The Tyrannosaurus Rex Existed in time between 66 to 68 million years ago. It’s fossils are found to date (up till today).
Physical Description:
The T-Rex reached heights of up to 6m (19 ft) lengths up to 14m (45 ft) and weighed more than 5 metric tons.
With a large, strong jaw and sharp, serrated teeth, this flesh-eating dinosaur was truly the “Tyrant-Lizard King”.
Eating Habits:
The T-Rex was a carnivore. The bone-crushing bite of the Tyrannosaurus Rex was probably more powerful than that of any other flesh-eating dinosaur.
Special Features:
The T-Rex was a GENIUS! It had a huge foot twice as big as ours. It had no cheeks but teeth the size of a banana with 100s of small teeth on each tooth for gripping and tearing flesh of its preys.
Environment:
The T-Rex lived in a humid, semi-tropical environment, in open forests with nearby rivers and in coastal forested swamps.
I like the Tyrannosaurus Rex because it was a carnivore and a very furious dinosaur with HUGE CLAWS!
